After the 6.1 ui update while holding down the shutter button instead of burst mode it Goes to video please advise I checked in settings it's still selected as pictures.
I thought my settings had switched as well, but turns out instead of holding it for burst, you hold and swipe down. Kind of like you're pulling the button down. Hope this helps.
Strange if you have swipe shutter button to set to take burst shot it should work when you hold and pull down on the shutter button. I just tried it on my s24, and it worked. Try resetting your camera settings

Try wiping the cache partition of your phone and see if that helps
