Samsung keyboard microphone input

NEW S24 with major bug. No Samsung Keyboard icon on navigation bar and more importantly no voice input icon.

I've tried everything.

-enabled Samsung keyboard as default

-enabled Samsung voice input

-tried clearing cache, deleting data and even uninstall Samsung keyboard and Samsung speech and reinstalling it.

-tried switching to Google Voice typing

-Downloaded offline English language pack

-Show keyboard button is toggled on

-Samsung permissions allow microphone

I've tried everything I can think of and I still can't get the keyboard icon or the voice input icon to show up in the navigation bar.

Please help!

I agree. I would like the mic icon back at the top please.

Not sure why it was moved in the first place? It was in a convenient spot. Now it's in the worst spot on the phone.

Yes. This. The current placement is awkward and counterintuitive.

Another feature I enjoyed, changed, great. Also, the press to hold mic doesn't work for me. Even though it's right there, this is so stupid.

They put the microphone icon so close to the edge they might as well put it on the back of the phone, it's **bleep**,  I rather have my s9+ than this 1300 dollar piece of **bleep**

i switched samsung keyboard to google keyboard and now have microphone  and voice input for txting is suberb

I think this goes without saying based on the post title but put the voice to text mic back. I hate the current position on the keyboard and I often disable that space to reduce the gap between the keyboard and swipe gestures. But because you now forced the mic to live in that location on OneUi6, I can't disable it.put the mic back where it belongs.

Along with all these issues, when you use voice input, it is inserting Capital Letters all over the message where there should NOT be capital letters. My s22+ NEVER had these issues.

It's difficult to find. Look in the lower bottom left of the screen,  the entire screen. Is down there with the Apps, Home and Back button.
