Visual voicemail does not work when BT activated

I have a Galaxy S24+ on Google Fi.  I have installed Visual Voicemail and everything seems to work (including transcription of messages and message playback).

However, as soon as I connect a Bluetooth device (in my case a Galaxy Watch 6 classis, or a Jabra 710), the playback does not work.

It appears to be playing, but the progress bar does not move and no audio is played.

The Instant I turn off BT, it works as expected.

Any idea community ?

How do you get rid of visual voicemail ,it's hijacked my ability to hit vm icon on phone to quickly call voicemail
