New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 

Zero.

I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 

Things I've checked:

• Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
• No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
• Sound is on.
• Vibrate is on.
• No icons or app badges show up on the top.
• The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
• All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
• This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
• My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
• If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

Literally 0 notifications. Not a single app. Not sure about SMS. Trying to fix it for an hour, googling as **bleep** and then found this thread... Samsung please

One more annoying thing is that “Device Pairing” in Google Messages is useless now, because my PC keeps losing connection with the phone, and now I need to open the app on the phone rather than on my PC 😞

Switched from S22 ultra to S25 ultra. SIM is updated able to receive calls, did smart switch and logged into everything. Unfortunately there is no way to create a separate work profile with my Microsoft Intune account. I know there is a big thread about this already going on but I can't even get Samsung to show a work profile. Also, despite going through all the notification settings I still can't get notifications from Gmail when I get an email. Its all on to alert every time not just high priority and nothing. Hoping these bugs are fixed soon or else this junk can go back.

I just figured out the S25 Ultra Gmail notification issue. I had to go into the settings , then choose your email address (I have 2 and had to do both) and scroll down to Sync Gmail. Mine was already checked so I unchecked it and rechecked it and now they're working correctly!

Try turning the notifcations off and then back on.

I had the exact opposite happen after upgrading my Galaxy Watch 7; I was getting notifications for things that were showing as turned off. I switched the notifications on and then off again, and it started blocking them correctly.

Also having notification problems across many apps since doing a smart switch from S23+ to S25+. Old phone still receiving them fine. Also a few app issues with eBay and Microsoft Authenticator, which don't exist on S23+.

Gmail for instance doesn't even download new emails, you have to manually refresh then they appear in inbox. I would say this is a domino effect hence no notification
