I recently just upgraded from an s21 to an s25 Ultra. I had previously backed up my secure folder via Smart Switch before upgrading, and now that I'm able to transfer, the option to do so doesn't show up? Is there a way for me to restore my secure folder data?
If you haven't wiped your S22 yet, you can still do a smartswitch transfer over a cable or wirelessly. You need to decrypt/unlock secure folder on both phones and then open smart switch. From there, you can choose secure folder. It shows up in the can't move over section but it still allows you to check the option to move it over. I hope this helps.
Hello, maybe this will help so if you go under your secure folder and then you go on to your settings, you will find restore from backup. And as long as you have done a backup on one of your old devices. Then you would put your Samsung account in. Click on restore which it'll restore from your Samsung account. And then you should be able at least get some of your data back that is up in the cloud. I know a couple years ago they stopped doing the backup. At least be able to get something hopefully.
