Can Samsung Care+ warranty be transferred between devices?

i have a year left on samsung plus warranty....i was told i can transfer it over to the new watch 6....then was told no....so what gives ...can i or cant i...............

Please know per the Samsung Care+ warranty: No, you must enroll your new device in one of the Care+ products on Samsung.com at time of device purchase. Also, remember to cancel Care+ coverage on your previous device if you do not wish to continue protecting it.
