Galaxy 6 watch

I just got the watch today brand new and have been fighting with the app for 4 hours trying to get my watch to connect. It will tell me no device found then all of the sudden it will find it and say checking number on watch then will go back to scanning. I have made it past that 3 times to where it was downloading and then gets to 80 percent and goes back to scanning for devices.....HELP

I'm happy with my watch 7. Had a 4 & 5 ...and the 7 is so much faster, bigger memory. But , for yout problem , I guess : try clearing cache of apps and only a few needed - as you may try to overload the capacity.

Is this the LTE or BT version? If it is the LTE version, did you contact your carrier to connect the watch to their network?

I thought it was the Bluetooth version but Everytime I try to get through the finding device on the app it will say it found it then says checking watch for number and if it does pair then it'll download to 80 percent and go back to scanning for devices. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times it's ridiculous. I don't know what to do. I've had it since Sunday and still can't wear it or use it because I can't get it paired or installed

What phone are you attempting to pair it with?

It's a Moto g power 5g 2024...android based and it says it will work with my phone

Yes, it should be compatible as it is running Android 14.

I suspect that if your app is telling you 'looking for number' than it is the LTE model that needs a seperate phone plan with your carrier. What is the model number of the watch on the packaging that the watch came in, please?

It says Model: SM-R60

I use cricket and don't think I can add a watch to my plan. I don't think that's a thing with them lol

You have the Samsung Gear Sport, which is not an LTE device, so no additional phone plan is necessary.
