Galaxy watch 7 sleep mode turns off but dnd doesn't

My galaxy watch 7 is set for sleep mode from 12a-11a. It shuts off at 11am, but do not disturb stays on. I don't have either setting synced with my phone. Anyone else having this issue?

Try explaining to it how important it is to disturb it at those hours. It may listen to logic and reason..it may not..

@Daniellek I don't think the 2 are linked by default. 

I have DND set to enable at 10 pm and disable at 8 am. When I go to bed, I enable Sleep mode on my watch. When I wake up, I disable sleep mode. Generally I wake up before 8 am. Disabling sleep mode does not disable DND.

@LongHiker  How do you set times for dnd? I can only see the option to turn it on or off.

Go to settings- notifications- do not disturb- then set the time and other settings you would like.

@Daniellek I set the DND schedule on my phone.

@LongHiker See I don't use dnd on my phone. I have dnd turned off on my watch too but it comes on when sleep mode comes on automatically but then never turns off when sleep mode turns off in the morning. So I'm at a loss. I really don't want to use dnd on my phone. I upgraded to the watch 7 from the watch 4 and it worked fine on there.
