I have wrist tattoos and the watch won't identify me wearing it to give messages and call notifications consistently OR the hand motions.. the watch 3 used to allow notifications when not wearing..... Any ideas? Work around? Or Samsung COULD bring back the option to receive notifications when not wearing(can't be the only one with this problem)

@T-Rock Try this, go to watch settings -> Security and privacy and turn off Wrist detection.

🙏🙏🙏 YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER.. I literally haven't gotten the other watches because that setting was gone!I feel silly now but don't care cuz you fixed my life lol.. but for anyone else out there that's wondering why sometimes the heart thing and stuff like that glitches
..if you got the wrist tattoos that fit under the sensor it has a hard time reading

Didn't help. I've tried everything. I'm afraid to reinstall the wear app, I'll lose everything.

It see through my tattoos just fine. My fitbit would not track my sleep at all.

Here's something funny.. if you go to where notifications SHOULD be on the watch.. Hit the settings cog.. Make sure allow notifications is on..I know seems obvious BUT... For some reason mine said what's app above it(I don't need those to my watch) so it LOOKED like it was saying notifications off for what's app..... But it was just notifications off 🙄

I did have to also use the do not detect setting though

I don't know, it just seems to be on some of the watch faces. Some of them go straight in to customization.
