I have it turned on on my Active4 but haven't been experiencing the issues you're having. I do remember others reporting similar issues though.

Have not had this happen on my Active4 (knock wood), also on 4.5. Software version R860XXU1GWD6. Wear OS 3.5

*UPDATE*

Please ensure that you have the latest Software update on your device.

Is your device calling 911?

Please make sure to make these changes as a workaround to prevent your device from contacting 911.

Go to the wearables App

Select Watch Settings > Safety & Emergency > Hard Fall Detection > Emergency Number to call and change this number to a number of your choice.

The problem with this is that the last time it happened to me it was the middle of the night. I was asleep and didn't respond so it automatically called 911 and notified my emergency contacts! The 911 operator was very annoyed and my kids were scared! So, it's not always feasible to report it as it is happening. Also, is this issue the same thing that is causing my Galaxy Watch 4 to notify my emergency contacts that" I've moved"? It seems that it is happening to quite a few people. If the feature doesn't work correctly there's not much point in having it!

Here's the finally kicker. Feature triggers at 6am while I'm fast asleep. Calls 911 and my SOS contacts. DISABLED!!!

My Galaxy watch for just gave a fall detection alert while I was in bed asleep. Since I didn't know it and didn't respond in time it called 911! This is about the fourth time I've gotten a false fall detection alert. It's gotten so frustrating that after it made the 911 call I turned the fall detection off.

Lately I have been having an issue with Watch 4 sending false fall detection alerts and an "I've moved" alert to my emergency contacts. How can I fix this issue? It's getting extremely annoying!
