I'm in the US (Los Angeles), and just bought a Samsung Smart Watch6, based on Advertisement, BUT discovered the Blood Pressure (BP) feature was NOT installed. After being transferred all over samsung support, I was told the BP feature is NOT INSTALLED on Samsung watches in the US because the FDA has not approved it! :o( ) MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!
All other smart watches in the US have the BP feature. My old generic smartwatch has the BP feature on it. Samsung smart watches (all series) IN OTHER COUNTRY'S HAVE THE BP Feature!!
WHY NOT IN THE US??? I even tried installing it via youtube but still can't install it.
1.) WHY is the BP Feature being Advertised on samsung smart watches when in realtiy  it is not for those in the US???
2.) WHY is the BP feature approved on all other watches and NOT  on samsung watches in the US???PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!!!!!!
It's very upsetting to spend all this money believing I had a Full Functioning Watch based on advertising and it wasn't true! I'm very dissapointed with Samsung. NOT a happy customer.

Samsung has no control over what the FDA approves or not.  The other watches that have this feature have obviously had it approved for use.  Perhaps there is something not quite right about it or perhaps Samsung has not bribed the right officials, but it's been publicly known for quite some time now that, while the watches have the capability, it's not functional in the U.S.  I don't know whether it's going to be harder to get it approved now with no one minding the FDA, or easier because it will be a free for all, and probably easier to bribe the officials now in charge.
