Just got a new Watch 6. I have another 6, as well as an old Galaxy Watch (love those bezels!). In the Wearable App, I can see both 6's; great. When I go to the new 6 and click Find my Watch, it brings me to the new Samsung Find app, which shows all my other watches... But not the new 6. How can I register the new 6 with Find?

I hate to raise this thread up from the dead but it's march 2025 and this issue persists sadly. This seems to be the only thread I can find that references this problem. I have 2 galaxy watch 7s, an S25 Ultra, a Galaxy tab 9, an original Galaxy Watch (1), galaxy ring, multiple galaxy tags and a galaxy buds 2. The only devices not showing up on Samsung find are the Galaxy Watch 7s (both of them), the galaxy ring and the galaxy buds.

I have reset the devices, the applications (wear, samsung find, smartthings) and got the same results. One interesting thing I noticed is that when I tried Samsung find from within smartthings but ONLY while accessing it using the home shortcut I saw 1 of my Galaxy Watch 7s briefly show up for 1 second and it disappeared. So clearly this is a bug.

Hey there @Parsapolis! @realaud hit the nail on the head.  Follow those steps mentioned for your devices and you should be good to go.  If it doesn't help, please let us know!

No that doesn't solve my issue. Those devices are not listed. Although both my Galaxy Watch ultras did show up before now they disappeared.

Any idea of next steps? I decided to factory reset my Galaxy Watch 1 earlier today and that broke things further. My phone, which was previously registed with Find is no longer registered and i have no option to add it back to Find. I'm getting the same error others have posted here indicating the phone has not finished registering and try again later. This error is new to me. Never had it before.

When you say you reset your devices, did you reset the phone, too, or just the watches?  Try resetting the phone.  You can try wiping the phone cache first to see if that clears things up.  If it does, there is no need to reset the phone.  If it does not, reset might be the only way to go. Log the phones out of your Google and Samsung accounts before resetting.

Thanks. No I didn't reset the phone to factory just the watches and cleared the data on SmartThings and Find apps. I actually just now signed out of my samsung account on the phone and rebooted before signing back in and now the phone is registered again and Find app opens fine. Odly enough now my Galaxy Tab dissappeared from Find just like my 2 galaxy watch ultras and the buds. Are you suggesting factory reset the phone for the missing devices or was that just for the phone registration issue?

Well this is interesting. After my Tab disappeared from Find I went ahead and signed out of my Samsung account on the Galaxy Tab like I did on my phone, rebooted and logged back in. As soon as I logged back into my Samsung account on the Tab now ALL my missing devices reappeared on the Find app on my phone and everywhere else. Definitely a bug but not sure where to submit the report. It would seem that the solution is to log out of your Samsung account from ALL mobile devices. Seems like something is being cached on all logged-in devices that is causing some type of conflict. I also noticed the S23 Ultra I've been trying to remove from Find since I got my S25 is now finally purged from my account as well. Solved 2 problems today šŸ˜ƒ

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the follow up but would that be useful without any application specific logs? I dont see the option to attach logs from Find

Did you select them to be found?  Open the find app, scroll down to devices (under the map), tap the 3 dots and select manage devices.  Make sure your new devices are listed and then check them.  Uncheck anything you no longer want to be found.  If the new devices are logged into your Samsung and Google accounts, they should be listed.
