Samsung pay on Watch 4 requires pin with unlocked device after update

Is anyone else all of a sudden since the last update having to enter in their pin to use Samsung pay when your watch is already unlocked???

I haven't noticed it doing it after the update.... you may just need to factory reset it, I've done that and seemed yo help some issues yeah sucks doing that but it clears things out.

Haven't experienced that (knock wood). What update are you referring to?

Honestly I don't know. All I know is that a few days ago there was an update to my watch. I thought it was a "regular" update but it looks like the last one was in May. But I do remember there being an update notification on my phone

Hmmm. My last update was 28 April and was Samsung Health related. I have just a BT version of the watch, not sure if that would make a difference.

and now my Active4 is requiring a pin even when my watch has been unlocked on my arm all day long. Has anyone figured out how to overcome this?
