Samsung watch ultra not getting notifications for texts

Am not getting any Notifications on my watch like text messages and everything all goes to my phone. How can I fix the problem

Goto the wearable app and click on watch settings. Under notifications, app notifications, and make sure the apps you want notification for are checked marked. Also, there's an option to either show notifications on the watch only when the phone is not in use or to show them on the watch even when the phone is in use.

I second Herms advice ^^^ if that doesn't solve your issue, it could be due to tattoos/pigment/amount of hair; turn off wrist detection :

Settings-> Security -> Toggle wrist detection

If it can't properly detect your wrist, some notifications will not be sent.
