What do you mean by Stand Alone? LIKE THE OLD smartwatch 4 .... wear OS and the SMARTWATCH 6 LTE do not do that anymore...

We need context on the TRUE DEFINITIONS OF STANDALONE AND NUMBER_SHARE in the INDUSTRY not what samsung DREAMS they are...

STANDALONE... means no other plans needed you can take the device [ALONE] into the carrier and they will provide service...

NUMBER_SHARE... means I have money to throw away so I can have a PAIRED device like headphones to use with my phone, but when I am away form my phone it will work like a extension of my phone... but ALWAYS BE DEPENDENT ON MY PHONE and I need to carry TWO PHONE PLANS...

I wonder if they really mean that WearOS watches need a phone to set them up initially?

NOPE Samsung CALLS IT OUT they GIMPED the Smartwatch 6 LTE with WEAR OS ... in their own documentation, but THEY STILL SELL/MARKET IT LIKE IT CAN DO STANDALONE.... that is how they burned ME

https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00078020/ Note:  Galaxy Fit models and Galaxy Watches running Wear OS cannot be used without a phone.

ALSO because no Carrier on the North American CONTINENT will provide service for it in a STANDALONE CONFIGURATION

Glad I could be a beacon of Light in a corporation which cannot align Dev with Marketing with Business dev and then think Legal has a leg to stand on... [ selling the Device like STANDALONE capable ] and there is no way for it to perform Standalone.

Remember WearOS  .. Google designed it to prevent people from using it as standalone...

By the developer adopting  wearOS they get COMPLICATIONS a really fitting word to be added to the WATCH FUNCTION... 6 1/2 hour time zone development at its best -- followed by removal of Standalone LTE support and Function... which was cornerstone to the Smartwatch 4

I have a 47mm Watch6 Classic. Will my multiple watch bands fit the 44mm Watch7 and/or the Watch7 Ultra. Also, will the Watch7 be offered in the 47mm size or is that a forced purchase of the Ultra version, if the 47mm is preferred?

Watch 6 and Watch 7 bands are both 20mm so they should fit. but I'm not sure about the contoured (no gap) fit.

As far as we know, all of the the Watch 7 versions has been announced.

From what I've read in reviews, the watch bands are different on the new watches so older bands will NOT work with the new watches (the way they attach is different)

Disappointed with Galaxy watch6 classic. Over a minute to boot up, notifications from phone don't always go to watch. Notification indicator on watch does not work. I went through all the settings dozens of times and have watched numerous how-to videos. Very disappointed.
