I'm looking for a little help. I have my screen timeout set to the maximum of 1 minute. If I wake up my watch with either of the buttons the screen will turn on but if my move my wrist at all it turns off immediately before the 1 minute time out

Do you have power saving mode turned on?

@userb9C7jnjNGS That timeout only kicks in if you interact with the screen. If you swipe the screen or rotate the bezel, the 1 minute timeout will apply. Otherwise, as you have noticed, the screen times out after a few seconds. This is default behaviour and not changeable.

I don't think that's accurate, because if I set my watch flat on a table and wake it up, it will stay on for the full minute without me interacting with it in any way.

That's because it knows that it isn't on your wrist.

I investigated this before and the answer that I provided above is the answer from Samsung support.

The issue could be that you have the raise wrist to wake setting on. For me personally that is what caused this issue. I had to turn that off and the issue resolved itself.

That's actually one of the very first things I turn off when I get a watch because it drives me nuts.
