Unable to reply to Facebook messenger notifications on Galaxy watch

Have the Samsung ultra watch. Turned on notifications in app for messenger get notifications on watch for messenger but when I reply and hit sent it says sent but it doesn't appear in the messenger window has anyone got it to work.

Did you have someone send you a test message? If you didn't download the no dpi version, it might not be completely compatible. You may have to install and uninstall different versions until you find the one that works. I started with the generic one, because I didn't feel like going through all that. It works for me, that's all I can attest to.

Gah...every time I roll back the messenger version the app updates itself, even though I have auto update off.

I have the S3 Frontier and was able to reply but can't anymore.

You still have to downgrade to a lower version.  See some of the previous posts for the link to the apk.  Make sure that when you downgrade, you not only turn off the auto updates in the play store, but also the auto update in the app itself.

Did this start working for anyone on the current version, or do we still have to stay reverted to an older version?

I have a watch ultra, I've never had any issues sending or receiving text messages. Now for the past month or so I can no longer send messages. It says message sent, but the message doesn't go through.

Are you talking about sending responses to Facebook Messenger notifications on the watch? This is not a Samsung issue, it is a Messenger issue. They messed up their last update. You need to put in a report with Messenger. In the app, go to the side menu, hit the settings and scroll down to "report a technical problem". In the meantime, go to APK mirror and download an earlier version of Messenger (v 485.0.0.58.111) and take it off auto update.
