Galaxy WatchI have a watch 4. I have raise wrist to wake turned on but it only turns on maybe half the time when I move my wrist. How do you get it to consistently turn on?
I have the display timeout set to 1 minute but it still turns off after 5 seconds. I'm moving it, I'm staring at it, and it just turns off quickly. How do you get it to actually stay on for 1 minute?
I tried turning on always on display figuring that would solve these problems. But that causes the problem of the blurry display that has been well documented - https://www.reddit.com/r/WearOS/comments/z70iqb/digital_clock_delay_delays_or_prevents_the/
I've had this watch for about 6 weeks and have been incredibly unimpressed with it. All I wanted it for is so I can see my texts/notifications without having to take my phone out of my pocket and to tell the time, and it can't seem to handle either one. I'd return it but I don't have the packaging.

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concerns with the raise to wake not functioning consistently and the screen timing out too quickly. I would be happy to look into this further for you. Do you by any chance have the battery saving feature turned on in your quick settings?

Galaxy WatchThank you for that information. The next step would be factory resetting your watch. Please make sure to verify you have a back-up, however please test your watch prior to restoring your back-up. This will allow us to rule out any software symptoms that may be causing this for you. Give this link a try for the proper steps to reset your watch: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/
If you have tried resetting your Galaxy watch 4 and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend a service repair.
You can use the following link to set up service for your buds: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/locations/ or you can reach out to our customer service team directly at 1-800-726-7864.
