Home TheaterMy Samsung Blu-Ray player has also gone into a reboot loop as of June 19, 2020. Model number BD-JM57C. I searched around and found this thread.

Home TheaterHello. There are no error messages with this issue. The player turns on immediately when it's plugged in, first it shows the main screen, highlights the disk play disk (that says no disk), then highlights the photos section, then, the HDMI icon shows in the upper right of my tv scree with 1080p HD, then changes to 480p HD, the Samsung branding displays in the center of my TV screen. This cycle then repeats itself. The blue ray player cannot be powered down by pushing the button on the front of the unit. The power button on the remote will not power down the unit. Unplugging the unit is the only way to power down the unit. Pressing and holding down the eject button does not produce a different result when powered up or down. Inplugging the unit and holding down the power button for 20 seconds does not produce a different result. No error messages display. Disconnecting the HDMI cord does not stop the cycling. Disconnecting the Ethernet chord does not stop the cycling. My full model code is. BD-JM51/ZA. Serial number 0A6B1RAG406233W. Those are zeros in the serial number. Good luck to you.
@Anonymous wrote:We're sorry to hear that! Have you tried unplugging the unit for 5 minutes? Are you getting any error messages?
The unit has been unplugged for hours. No error message displays.

Same problem with my blu-ray player as described by all those on this thread: units (2, both the same model, in different rooms) worked fine Wednesday and then on Thursday started cycling on and off infinitely, not staying on long enough to access settings or attempt any reset. I tried resetting via the eject button and tried inserting a disc and unplugged both for a minute, then an hour, and now all night since I cant stand listening to the constant loading. I can't wait too much longer for a fix- there's only garbage on the one OTA and cable kids' channel!
