Q990C Alexa app issues

I just had delivered a brand new Q990C and so far am pleased with it.  I noticed through the Alexa App the soundbar was paired to two different tv,s, one of which I do not own.  Does Samsung test these with any TV before sending out or did I get a used / refurb one I bought as new.
