Samsung Q990D unresponsive after 1020 firmware update

Since the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.

Seems like quite a few people with the issue

Who here is actually going to ship their unit back? Would hate to start the process and have a software update come out that corrects the issue. Although not even sure it’d work to update through the usb port?

In case it serves you any my bar has been resurrected I have disconnected it where current half an hour, before plugging it I pressed the ignition button of the bar and the plug-in controller and it has worked again in case you want to try.

I am currious what the ignition button is? the right one on top of the bar? And what is the "plug-in controller" is that a button because you pressed it? 

Did you got exact the same issue that none of the remote buttons except the on/off and only the right button of the soundbar was responding a bit? 

Did you also have no sound/screen anymore (no HDMI) and only message HDMI arc or HDMI 1 on the small screen?

USB is not registering, I tried a manual update, would not pick it up

Same problem here in Spain with 990d. I return mine Monday to Amazon.
