Hello,

We’ve had our Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator for 4 weeks now and twice we’ve had soda cans explode inside the Flex Zone drawer. At first the temp was set to Beverage (34 F) and then we set it to Deli (37 F) after the first soda exploded. We just had the second can explode on us tonight and I can’t figure out why? There are about 20 cans in there and none of them were frozen except for the one that exploded. It appears that the frozen one was towards the back of the drawer, so maybe that could be an indicator why?

anyone have any suggestions or dealt with the same issue?

The back is probably where the vent is that keep blowing cold air, cooling it below safe temperature. Not much you can do other than moving soda cans to another location.

I'd say that the thermostat is broken. The soda would have to be reaching a few degree below the freezing point of water (32°) to cause the cans to explode.

Suggest contacting the seller for a repair or exchange under warranty.

This happens for a few reasons 1 temp set to cold. 2. Drawer not shut or sealed all the way. 3. Something fell behind the Drawer causing it not to shut. 4. Make sure nothing is blocking the temp sensors like overstuffed drawer or like a plastic bag or left over plastic wrap from it being brand new
