Kitchen and Family HubHi there, I'm so glad you asked! The refrigerator has an internal reservoir that holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. If the water from the dispenser is not cold, then the cold water in the refrigerator's reservoir has been used up, and it will take time to cool again. Additionally, during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature, which increases the time it takes to cool down.
