I have a French Door refrigerator, the frame that holds the glass on bottom shelf that connects the drawers broke. Who can I call to replace and what could it cost? Why did this happen?
I'm not sure if that part would be self-replaceable, if it is they can probably sell you the part. You can call Samsung service and they can provide you information on an authorized repairer and give you an estimate. If you unit is under warranty, they may not consider that a warranty item, but it will be evaluated by the repair service.

Most refrigerator parts are self serviceable, especially the cabinet components. There are many YouTube videos on stuff like this but, first, you would have to obtain the part. My French door is at least 10 years old and, so far, nothing in the interior has broken. I did have a minor repair of a fan behind the back wall, but I replaced the door mullion (the part betwern the doors) by myself after buying the part on Amazon. You may be able to find a parts list at Samsung parts website or in your manual.
you can go to Samsungparts.com and search for the part. I doubt you can just buy the frame, though. I think the whole shelf might have to be replaced. Unfortunately their site is idiotic, as if you search by refrigerator model, it comes up with no parts, and you cannot determine what part number you need without knowing which part # fits your fridge model.
