Age: Less than 1 year
Model Number: RF28HMEDBSR/AA-00
Brand: Samsung
Age: More than 10 years
I thought my freezer compartment had an evaporator fan issue which is probably incorrect. I noticed a fine line of ice crystals always on top of inside freezer evaporator? coils . Do you think this may due to thermostat in freezer? Temp on control panel is showing 0 but not freezing. Refrigerator portion is working correctly

Kitchen and Family HubHey, Momvom; Thank you for reaching out! If your refrigerator’s freezer is reading 0°F but not freezing, there could be a few possible reasons, such as improper airflow, a faulty seal, or an issue with the cooling system. We recommend checking a few troubleshooting steps, which you can find here: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10003479/
It looks like GaryB82 may have the right idea. For a unit this old, it may require service repair. You can use their link or this link to locate a service center in your area. We're unable to assist with self repairs, but a professional service center should be able to help.
