Hello there, and thank you for being a part of our Samsung Community. I definitely understand the concern regarding the control panel being unresponsive and will assist as best as possible.
First, we recommend making sure the control panel is not locked as this is the most common cause for a panel not responding when engaged.
Second, you'd want to power cycle the refrigerator by unplugging the refrigerator or turning the power off at the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restoring power.
Regrettably, if the issue continues, the only other option(s) is having a technician look at it or contact your retailer for a possible replacement (which should be possible if you're still within their return period).
