Just got a Samsung tv and wanted to install the Movies Anywhere app but can’t seem to find it. Have tried searching but the search function is not very good. Is it available?
Hello @PastorRunner, I would recommend reaching out to the devs of the Movies Anywhere app. As there may be compatibility issues with the app and may not work for your model, if the app is not showing up in your search then it is not available for your TV.
I have a movies anywhere account; but I can’t locate the app anywhere on the tv to download. I have been able to find other apps and install fine eg fandango
Do you have a media streaming device like Roku, Apple TV, or Fire TV by Amazon? The app can be accessed through a media streaming device and not directly on some TVs. Per Google.
yes. I can do it that way. A bit annoying that they don’t have major app like that available on a brand new tv. Thanks. I did some searching and all my results kept saying that it was now available on Samsung.
However, if you are still having trouble after these steps, I would recommend checking for software updates and resetting the Smart Hub as the next steps. I'm providing links below on how to do this.
I understand how to install apps. My question is if the "Movies Anywhere" app is available. I search (as in the link above) but don't see it anywhere, even though the Samsung website indicates it is available. I have Updated and Reset the Smart Hub.
