ALL the tvs in my house are Samsung and ALL of them do the exact same thing - what is that thing? ... You can utilize any App and it will randomly just stop working and go back to whatever your base home screen is.  Hulu, Max, YouTube, Disney+, ESPN, Paramount, and even Fandango.  It happens on ALL of the TVs - ALL of the time, and it does it very randomly.  After 2 minutes, after 30, after 12, etc etc.  No rhyme or reason to it at all.  And BEFORE you go into resetting the TVs and reinstalling Smart Hub and doing updates ... I have done ALL of that.  This is an issue with Smart Hub - PERIOD ... and it has been an ongoing issue for a while and Samsung has done nothing to fix the issue as there are multiple posts all around the same issue.  Btw - this only happens with Apps - not DirecTV box through the HDMI hook-up or SamsungTV or Over-the-Air - it is 100% anything through apps.  Figure it out SAMSUNG and LISTEN instead of telling people to reset their stuff and when that doesnt work - pay an arm and a leg to have a tech come out and tell them to replace the TV for $$$$ ... That is the bottom line to this - 100% Samsung trying to collect on service of their TVs rather than fix their problem that they knowingly have ...

Anyone want to get together and start a Class Action lawsuit against Samsung for this??

@Scott1781  I really wish they would sell dumb TV's, ever since atream devices have been around I have used nothing else. Smart TV platforms in 2 words really suck, except, Sony they use Google TV.

Streaming devices the apps get updated frequently, I love my Google TV from Walmart under the brand name Onn, it's snappy, 32gb of storage, you can side load apps. Great remote. Hands free, because there is a built in nest spearker.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing problems with your TV, Open the settings on your TV and select the Support option, then Device Care, run the Device Care application to make sure everything is working correctly, Then on the Same screen as Device Care select Manage Storage this will bring up all of your Applications, select Each application and select Clear the cache from it, This will free up memory on your TV, The TV doesn't have much memory installed,Please try this and let me know

No, this does not work. I have tried this previously and just did it again. I am only using half of the memory. Like I said in my first post, I have researched this and tried all the different steps and nothing fixes the issue. This is not a hardware issue. It is strictly a software issue and something Samsung should be actively working to repair and fix for all their customers. Because I can guarantee, it's not just a limited few.

Have you tried manually updating the firmware? Also, what model TV is it?

Yes - they have all been manually updated.  Again - this is on ALL of my TVs not just one.  So every one of them has been updated and gone through and they all do the same thing all the time.  Doesnt matter what series of TV it is - it happens on everyone that I own - all 5 models listed below.
QN55Q60TAFXZA, UN43TU70000FXZA (2 OF THESE), UN55CU7000FXZA, and a QN85QN85AAFXZA.
