NU7400 TV glitching

Our TV started doing this weird glitching thing last August. It eventually went away on its own (I think we switched it on and off a few times) but now it’s back with a vengeance and isn’t disappearing even after being switched off at the wall. 
I think the model is: UE50NU7400U

It seems to be doing it regardless of what is streaming - ie all apps. 

Anyone got any ideas for what is causing it or how to fix it? I have a video of it but can’t seem to upload that here.

I know that is super frustrating! Have you checked the power cord and outlet to make sure there's no damage to either? If there's not any damage and this is happening on all sources, inputs and the picture test, service would be recommended. As your device is a non-US model information is severely limited.
