LED and OLED TVs

My OLED 4K S95C will not power down with my DirecTv remote.  It cycles around twice and it take 2-3 times pushing the off button to turn it off.  I get messages about "Check Device Power" and it says HDMI  and then to check the HDMI power.  Please advise a solution.

Make sure CEC is enabled on the Direct TV receiver and Anynet+ on the TV
