Recently, I attempted to play a movie file via a USB drive on my S90D TV. The movie had an audio track encoded inDTS-HD MA 6ch 2787 kbps, but the TV was unable to play the audio. This has left me concerned about compatibility and the full range of audio formats supported by the TV.

DTS codecs are not supported by Samsung TVs, as BrĆ¼ZZi correctly pointed out, DTS was abandoned in 2018. Here is the list of video and audio codecs that are supported by Samsung TVs.
