LED and OLED TVsJust bought a Samsung S95D and the TV does not reliably turn on through HDMI CEC ... I've tried using an Apple TV and a Playstation 5, both of which are set to turn the TV on through HDMI CEC and have the appropriate cables to do so (i.e. both of these devices turned my previous Samsung Q90T on without any issues prior to this TV).
This seems to be an issue when the TV is off for more than an hour ... if the TV was just recently turned off (e.g. in the past hour), the Apple TV and the Playstation 5 are both able to turn the TV on. Anything more than an hour, the TV does not turn on successfully through these two devices

LED and OLED TVsSame issue with Samsung Frame 2024 LS03D, apple tv CEC command for turning on is not working after long stand by.
I believe this happens because the TV is getting turned on by its sensors (motion, mic on the TV, and light sensor)
which is causing the HDMI handshake to break.
you can turn off the TV microphone only with a hard switch in TV control panel, ref (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIyv4Y8cw2M&pp=ygUec2Ftc3VuZyBUViBtaWNyb3Bob25lIHR1cm4gb2Zm)

LED and OLED TVsNot sure thatās the fix for the issue as I have my Apple TV turning on the TV at the moment with the microphone enabled.
Iām worried about losing a working setup so I donāt want to experiment further but I think installing the Smart Hub may prevent the TV from going into a deep sleep, this allowing it to respond to commands. Has anyone else had success installing it?

LED and OLED TVsUpdate to my previous comment: I "solved" this problem by simply using the TV remote. When I use the TV remote it turns on the TV, the soundbar and the Apple TV. Perhaps this is by design? I dunno, but it works.

LED and OLED TVsSame on Apple tv 4k 3rd gen and S95D bought last week on latest firmware. It turns off with apple remote and volume works etc. It also turns the tv on when it has been off for small amount of time, but then over night it is not turning on anymore, I need to use the tv remote then.
It worked on my 13 year old Phiips tv before and also on a older Samsung model, so I hope they fix this fast. No premium feeling so far, also the eArc gave some issues with my Sonos, but that seems to be stable now.
Not home now, but I will also try this later today (maybe it could help others here as well):

Still hope that samsuns will release a firmware fix this issue.
