LED and OLED TVsI purchased a Samsung Crystal UHD 55" DU7200B TV.
I generally listen to the volume set at 40. This is a comfortable level.
When I turn the TV off, and then turn it back on, the volume is at 70 or 80.
How do I stop this from happenning?
Thanks.

LED and OLED TVsHello@usermgPFAfcMUF! Thank you for reaching out! Just want to confirm, does this occur when nothing is connected to the TV? Also, can you turn the volume to zero and see if this still occurs too?

LED and OLED TVsHi,
The TV gets it signal from an Xfinity X1 TV box, via an HDMI cable. There's no other physical connection. (I don't know what you mean by "when nothing is connected".) For instance, I watched TV last night with the volume at 40, and turned it off for the night. This morning, I turned the TV back on, and volume was at 70. This doesn't happen all the time, just occassionally. By the way, I had this problem with my previous 55" Samsung LED TV.
On this new TV, I see three settings for sound: Adaptive, Standard, and Amplify. What is Adaptiv?
Thanks.

LED and OLED TVsI understand that, I mean, when nothing is connected to the TV besides power. As for the sound modes they can sometimes cause this to happen. To stop this standard would be the best option.
