LED and OLED TVsI have the UN43TU700 television with BN59-01315J remote. I followed the procedure to configure the remote to control my Yamaha HTR5550 receiver which connects via the optical link. The remote will INCREASE the volume on the receiver, but it WON'T LOWER the volume!! This in addition to the fact that, despite passing the power control test during the setup procedure, the remote doesn't turn the receiver on or off in normal operation.
I should add that, when I press the "volume up" and "volume down" controls on the remote, the TV displays the respective pulsing "+" and "-" indications next to the "optical" identifier on the screen, so I know the remote is sending the correct IR commands to the TV. Plus, the receiver indicates it's receiving optical input from the TV, and this indication disappears when the TV is turned off.
Help, someone, please!

LED and OLED TVsHello! Thank you for reaching out! I would recommend trying and unpair and repair the remote to the receiver. You can also try and reset the remote too, to do this please take the batteries out of the remote and press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then try and repair the remote to the receiver. If this doesn't work then you can also try connecting the receiver via HDMI instead as you will be able to control the sound that way to. You can use this link to help: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00089902/.
The last option would be to purchase a new remote. You can purchase one here https://samsungparts.com
