Occasionally when waking my Neo G9 from sleep mode it suffers from the screen flickering and flashing.  This can be seen here:  https://www.BogoLinux.net/NeoG9.mov

Following a comment I spotted on Reddit, I can stop this happening by simply turning off the monitor and back on again.

I hope this can be fixed at the firmware level, because this is already a replacement monitor for my first which was RMA'd.

Cheers.

I can definitely understand your concern here. Let's try to alleviate some of the stress by trying this link:

If this does not help I recommend letting a service technician have a look. As we would like to gather additional information and look at this from a case by case basis please provide the full model code and the serial number of the device as well as your best contact phone number, name, and email.

Have the same problem

I've also had this issue since purchasing - not acceptable for a monitor that costs this much and is supposed to be a high-performance product.

I also have this problem; however, power cycling doesn't help. This typically occurs when I turn off PIP mode when I no longer want to have my work computer display on half the screen.

When this occurs I often times have to unplug the Display Port cable (main computer) and plug it back in.

Definitely not the experience you would expect from a monitor that costs more than $2000.

Hi, My Neo flickers badly when it comes out of standby/sleep mode.

If I turn if off then back on it is fine.

This is similar/same as https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Monitors-and-Memory/Odyssey-Neo-G9-screen-flicker-flashing-after... which is closed.

I couldn't see a real solution - that post said try a bunch of things or send the monitor for repair, but no indication of what happened/solved the issue.

Can anyone help?

Are you by any chance using AMD GPU? If so, it's caused by the adreline software. You can also look at the AMD forums.
