I bought a Samsung T55 27" Curved monitor (open box) at Best Buy a little over a year ago.   After a few months, it began to make a sparking/electrical crackling noise and then go black for a few seconds.   This happened seemingly randomly, but at least every few hours.     I sent it in for warranty repair.    Apparently, they replaced the screen.   The problem stopped for several months, but now it has started up again.   It's now past the warranty period and repair costs more than a new one.   I didn't buy an extended warranty because it's a Samsung!    Has anybody else had this problem, and what can I do?   Thanks.

I'm very sorry to hear about this issue continuing to happen, even after getting the monitor serviced! The best advice I can offer is to take it to Geeksquad (who you're probably already acquainted with) to look this over again. If the defect was found to be an issue with the repair itself, it may still be covered. I'm not certain of their policies.
