Projectors & Other TVsHow do you turn off the auto-detect HDMI feature? Sometimes my Apple TV comes on and then the TV automatically turns on as well but I don't want the TV to do so. How do you turn off this feature?
Thanks,
Mark

Projectors & Other TVsI've noticed it does seem to be slowly rolling out in batches, you can skip the wait by updating over USB too if you'd like. Steps for updating over USB can be found here if you need them: http://bit.ly/2pOiJ6q

Projectors & Other TVsI just got a 6 series 4K Samsung UHD TV and I'm experiencing this issue. The TV randomly changes the source from HDMI 1 to AV. I checked the settings and didn't see anything that would cause this. I confirmed I have software version 1180 that you referenced has the fix and there are no available updates. Is there a bug in this version too? It's really annoying as I just got the TV yesterday. Everything else seems to work OK so far. Please help!

Projectors & Other TVsFor my final contribution to this thread I would just like to say that I had an unexpected phone call today from my retailer's technical support team after some comments I may have made on Social Media.
The result of this was that the technician also owns a Samsung TV and it also suffers this problem, and he knows no way of fixing it except waiting for a firmware upgrade. 1180 didn't fix it for him either.
He confirmed what we all know that is a software issue, that it should be easy to fix and that Samsung DO listen to their customers but are very slow to react.
i shall continue to hide behind my HDMI switch until the next (and possibly the one after) firmware upgrade.
It's been fun 'knowing' you all
Goodbye until the next 'feature'

Projectors & Other TVsI have a KU506300 with thelatest firmware 1180. However what is driving me crazy is my xbox and ps4 is automatically turned on whenever changing whatever HDMI source I want. I'm not hitting the power on either system. Called Samsung and they did a remote chat to see what I was saying they said it appears to be an issue with the HDMI ports??? They set up for a tech to call me to come out and service. Seems like many people are having this issue and a software patch could correct this instead of having techs come to your home. Everytime I turn the tv off I have to make sure the HDMI source is set to my cable comp so it doesnt turn the systems on automatically. Is there any settings in xbox or ps4 that disables this auto turn on ??

Projectors & Other TVsI ran mine through an Onkyo TX-NR656 Receiver, which has HDMI pass-through. I have only one connection into the One Connect. HDMI ARC - I have Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) on.
Now mine seems to work correctly. If evrything is off and I press the DISH power button, it turns on the DISH, the TV and remembers if I had the Receiver on. If I did, the receiver turns on too turned to the CBL/SAT and sound comes throught the receiver, and the remote works the volume of the recivers.
If the reciever was off just the DISH and the TV comes on and the volume works the TV. If I turn off/on the receiver it takes about three-five seconds to switch, but it works, and the remote works the sound.
This works the same for my 4K player too.
If I plug my FireStick into the One Connect I of course don't get surround sound, but it switches to HDMI4 and works, but sometimes It won't let me switch back, the remote keeps looping back to HDMI4.
If I pulg the FireStick into the receiver and pick any free HDMI, CD, Aux, doesn't matter, it works again as you would expect.
My finding for me anyway has been when I go through my receiver everything works as expected. If I have more than one thing plugged into my One Connect it doesn't work as expected.
This would be great except some sources when going through my reciever creates lip sync problesm. I adjust the settings on my TV and the Onyko which gets them to almost perfect, but still a delay. (some channels are better/worse than others). I don't know if it the receiver or the TV yet.
So fixing one problem, creates another problem.
I have five Samsung TV's but this may be my last:
BTW the two TV's that have the Onyko hooked up are a JS9800 and a Q7

Projectors & Other TVsI am having the same problem with my UN70KU630D, particulary with Netflix though the PS3. I updated the version to 1207. Still having the same issue. It just ranomly takes me to a No Signal error message telling me to check to antenna, channel scan, or press source. I have to adjust the source at least 3 times an hour. Is there really no fix to this? Whwn this happens I have my PS3 set through my Receiver and can hear the sound but no picture. Appears to be limted to the PS3 as DVD and Cable work fine.
Will an HDMI switcher work?
