Projectors & Other TVsHello,
I purchased a UN65J8500 3 years ago and just recently, within the last 2 months, I started noticing what looks to be light spots shinning through the panel. These light spots are especially noticeable on solid colors.
I've posted a couple of images of what it looks like:
Is this something that I can fix or is this panel not worth saving?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
cheers,
devin

Projectors & Other TVsI have a 65 js9000 and have light bleeding through as well. Honestly for an over 2k TV this should not be happening, I also hade to replace the one connect box 2 years ago. The quality is absolute disappointing with Samsung. I hope a rep can get back to me.

Projectors & Other TVsI have a 3 year old js9000 which already had a one comnect box replaced 1.5 years after purchase and now I am having light bleeding and the TV is warmer than normal to the touch on the sides. This is very disappointing for a Samsung flagship TV which is breaking after 3 years use.
Would like to k ow what samsung can do to remedy this.
Thanks

Projectors & Other TVsI'm experiencing similar issues for:
Model:UN65JS8500
Ver: T-HKMAKUC-15500.0
S/N: 041K3CDXXXXXXX
Unacceptable based on the number of customers experiencing the same issues. Can anyone confirm if there's a Class Action suit in progress or do we need one started?

Id like to know this aswell. I've seen at least 20 different people complain about the same issue with the same JS8500 model. All these do called mods are doing is offering a measly $100 in return for a $1600-$2000 TV. Unbelievable. If anyone starts a class action suit let me know. It's clearly a manufacturing error but idiots think it can be fixed with parts they don't even have.

Projectors & Other TVsI also have the same problem. MY UN65JS8500 has been in storage since it started since it gets very hot as well. I cant fathom throwing away a $3,000 TV. Clearly there is a manufacturer defect with all of the same type of complaints for this high-end model! I think there needs to be some type of replacement programs since Samsung says they cant fix it.

Projectors & Other TVsI have a UN55JS8500 that is getting rapidly worse with light bleeding through the display and extreme heat. Has Samsung published anything about this being a fire hazard? I purchased the SUHD model line because it was their flagship model, nothing was supposed to be better. My expectations were that I would get a much better product. Please help get this resolved and make it right.

Projectors & Other TVsWell I had a tech here last week and there are no parts avaialbe to fix the TV. Samsung offered $293 to buy the TV back which is a joke for a TV costling nearly $3K. I cannot even get anything semi decent for that amount and they would send a truck to pick the TV up (I am sure they can get more than $300 for the parts).
Unless Samsung steps up and does soemhting bout a common issue I am done wikth all their electronics, ranging from TV's to Cell Phones.
If they cannot make this right, I'm goign back to Sony and or LG

Projectors & Other TVsI just started having the same problem yesterday evening. For the price of this television and the new Q series to replace it. Samsung should do something to rectify the problem!
