Red standby lamp is flashing. I've tried the usual things (different power socket, etc.) but nothing has worked. TV purchased in 2016 so no longer under any warranty.

@ossocafe, this Samsung webpage will address your issues directly: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001086/

Also, I MUST add that if you did all the steps to verify it is not a power supply problem (meaning unplugging and replug in a different outlet, etc.) then unfortunately in my experience it may be an LED problem/failure or a Main Board failure.

Furthermore, if you are handy with a multimeter, which I am not suggesting you should do, voltages could be checked inside the TV where the boards are. Otherwise, I am sorry to say you may have to shop for a new TV.

Thanks - decided to bite the bullet and get a new one. Samsung support were not much help and I'd already tried the usual suggestions from the help pages/forums.

Sorry your TV bit the dust. It's the worst feeling to turn on a TV and not have it come on. Hope you enjoy your new one!
