I was troubleshooting a YouTube casting issue when I was prompted to hit both the "back arrow" and the "play/pause" buttons at the same time. I have never tried this before.
My Frame has been stuck on "Searching for devices..." in Art Mode ever since. I unplugged it for a bit, but it didn't help. I tried the same buttons and got "Please try again by pressing the buttons for device pairing" with an illustration to push the same buttons.
Tried the Smarthings app, but honestly that has never worked because it can't find my Frame, it always says The Frame is offline. I have troubleshooted that many times, same Wifi, everything is good to go but it won't connect.
Can I hard reset my Frame some other way? I have a thumb drive USB, is there a firmware update I can try?
Help.

QLED and The Frame TVsI had the same issue. Nothing worked until I plugged the remote in the TV. It connected immediately. I have a Samsung remote which came with the TV, it has a USB-C charging port on in.

QLED and The Frame TVsI have the same issue on my 43" frame tv. Pressing any button on remote initiates "searching for devices" bluetooth process on tv. Remote never pairs. I've placed the remote in many positions around tv and processing box with no success.
As work around, I tried to use the smartthings remote on my phone, but there is a step requiring to select "OK" on the tv. This is not possible without a functioning remote.
Has anyone resolved this? This thread is months old with no clear solution. One mentioned connecting remote directly to the tv with usb-c cable, but I found no location to do this.
