Note that I had the following related issue: deleting my imported photos from the TV did not clean up the content they took in the TV's limited storage, although they did appear to be deleted from the UI. I am using the May 20th 2020 firmware, v1115, and even with my photos removed I still had trouble with the Art Mode app, until I performed a hard factory reset.
