No Longer Seamlessly Displaying Art Mode with Apple TV 4K

In the last few weeks, Samsung updated the OS to the Frame TV and a function that I regularly used is no longer available. I'm writing in hope that someone can suggest a workaround (or if Samsung engineers read this, to bring the function back).

I have an Apple TV 4K media streamer for my Frame 55" 2022 TV. I'm assuming that other media streamers such as Chromecast, Roku, etc. would have a similar behavior that I am getting now post-OS update.

Prior to the update, I would be watching TV using the Apple TV 4K steamer, conclude for the evening, power off the streamer with the Siri remote, and the Frame would instantly go into the Art Mode and display artwork for 30 minutes (my settings) before the Frame would go to sleep. Post upgrade, I power off the streamer (Apple tells me the streamer goes to sleep, not powering off), but instead of the Frame displaying artwork, it is searching for a media source:

My only recourse now is to use the Samsung remote and manually navigate to the Art Mode and select the artwork, a multi-step process.

Is anyone else who is using a streamer experiencing this, and do you have a workaround?

Latest update broke the Art mode, TV wont go into art mode automatically anymore.  TV won’t turn off via CEC devices.   I think we have enough people for a class action lawsuit.  There has to be a lawyer amongst us.

SOLVED!  Here is how to use the AppleTV4k controller exclusively for the Samsung frame  with return to Artmode!   Thankyou to @Timdlr (that's his youtube handle).  I made a quick dirty video to show the solution.  Thanks to everyone here for their input! 

PS : It's probably prudent to switch off autoupdate for now.

I know I’m late to this party, but I’m experiencing exactly the same thing. I only use ATV with my Frame. I paid a premium specifically so I could have Art Mode as soon as I turned off my ATV. Samsung just destroyed the one thing that made it unique with the stroke of a software update. Samsung, expedite this fix!!!

Went online to find a solution to this very frustrating new problem.  Instead find that I'm one of many affected by this, and that Samsung doesn't seem to want to acknowledge that they caused a problem.

Samsung:  I bought 2 of these tv's for just ART mode, and it's unusable now.  Fix it!!!

Samsung just quietly monitoring these threads, saying nothing, doing anything? Who knows.
