The work around is not working for me. Why doesnāt Samsung fix this? It is so frustrating all of the time to figure out these potential fixes, that shouldnāt be the responsibility of the consumer
Sorry to hear that. I haven't had any issues whatsoever since disabling notifications and leaving the Chat Together app. Sounds like I'm one of the lucky few.
When I originally contacted Samsung, they tried to tell me that I was the first person they've had report this issue, so I kindly directed them to this thread on their own website. They, of course, promised to take it under advisement š
I have also been having this same issue with OTA only. All streaming works fine. Anything using the antenna every 2 minutes regardless of what is being watched, the screensaver comes on.
Is there any confirmed permanent fix for this? maKes the TV completely unwatchable.
This started after the most recent firmware update. I did a chat with support once. They were completely oblivious and didnāt understand the issue even as I explained it very clearly numerous times.
Iām now trying to watch the ALCS game 2 and it keeps going into screen saver mode. This is pissing me off. Itās ridiculous. Samsung, fix this issue!!!! @usernmsdvn97en_
Went to friends house other day that had same issue and what I did that seemed to solve the issue was I turned off motion/brightness sensors and also wen to 'home mode' and set it to 'retail' for a minute and then back to 'home ' and problem was fixed. Not exactly sure which of those fixed issue but its gone.
