QLED and The Frame TVsGreetings,
Two days ago I attempted to turn on my 77" S90D that has been working fine for the past 2+ months. Wouldn't turn on. Plugged the power cord into multiple different outlets. I was a PC tech in the past and performed all other troubleshooting I could think. Perused avsforum.com and after seeing others in the same boat I felt a post here might help others. I opened a support ticket and expect an onsite tech in two days. Any feedback from anyone else that has gone through this, or performed a return/refund, would be appreciated.

QLED and The Frame TVsGoing forward, I encourage you to protect all your electronic devices with a proper power strip or UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply). I think that TVs, along with a digital antenna, are perfect candidates for UPSs, as they would provide local information in an emergency and could be used as a source to power other, smaller device, such as your cell phone.
I apologize that my post is a bit off topic.
I wish you the best outcome with your service appointment and look forward to your update here.

QLED and The Frame TVsSame issue just happened to me with my 77” OLED S90D. I was in the middle of watching TV when it suddenly cut off with a click (sounded like it could be from an internal breaker or fuse, or potentially a failure of a capacitor or resistor on the TV’s internal electronic board). No other devices or electronics were affected, so it doesn’t appear to be related to a power outage, power surge, or brown-out. There was no storm or unusual activity in the area (although it is a little windy today), and none of my other TVs or sensitive electronics were impacted.
The TV was plugged into a surge-protected power strip, which in turn was connected to a UPS. The red standby light does not come on. I’ve tried plugging it into different outlets, leaving it unplugged for an extended period, using a different power cord, and disconnecting all input/output devices from the TV. Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
I purchased the TV just over two months ago on Oct 24th, 2024 (it’s now Jan 1st, 2025). I’ve scheduled an appointment with Samsung, but the earliest available date was Jan 6th, 2025. Purchasing a new TV would take longer to deliver, so I’m hopeful the Samsung techs can easily fix this on-site.
Thank you for your post. I wasn’t aware Samsung offered on-site repairs for these TVs, which is at least somewhat encouraging.

QLED and The Frame TVsPurchased the same TV in November, was working normal last night around 7pm. Attempted to turn it on around noon-ish (CST) today and now I’m having the exact same issues. Soonest fix for me is January 7th.

QLED and The Frame TVsService appointment is complete. Tech replaced the board on the right where the power cord is located. One or two screws and a cable or two. He commented he's performed 4 other repairs just like mine. Pretty straight-forward but not a self-service fix. I considering the purchase of an extended warranty.
