QLED and The Frame TVs
I have a Samsung QN90a 65 inch. I bought it roughly 2 years ago. I was playing ps4 tonight and excited out of a menu to regular game play and the TV seemed to freeze up briefly as it exited the menu and just stayed black. I have sound and if I shine a flash light I can see a picture. Can anyone please help me?

Try unplugging your video cable where it connects to the screen and plug it back in. I have that problem with my ultra wide monitor, and this seems to fix it.

Always. So last night, which stinks, because I barely ever play video games anymore, i got that hogwarts game for Christmas lol so I was bored and said what the hay, decided to play. I was a big gamer in my 20's but now un my 40's not so much. Anyhow, I paused the game like 20 seconds, and as I exited the menu the tv kinda seemed to freeze briefly , it was perfectly timed with the menu exit, went black then all I had was sounds. At forst I thought that something froze up, it was timed so perfectly. But I tried everything. I can see the image with a flashlight, I have sound as well

Okay well, based on how sound works and you can see with a flashlight, the most likely issue your TV's backlight is non functional or somehow turned off.

No, your PS4 can't cause damage like that to your TV. Worse thing it could do is ruin your hdmi port, which it didn't
