I have a Samsung QN90a 65 inch. I bought it roughly 2 years ago. I was playing ps4 tonight and excited out of a menu to regular game play and the TV seemed to freeze up briefly as it exited the menu and just stayed black. I have sound and if I shine a flash light I can see a picture. Can anyone please help me?

Well I did notice something just now, the plastic next to the port looks a little white. Like it was getting hot

That could just be dust that wants to stick on the tv. I think there could be 2 reasons why your TV is doing this:

1. The backlight is non-functional
2. You turned off the backlight by accident

I'm not familiar with the navigation of settings on your TV, but you should use your phone flash to see the screen, open the settings, and (probably) in display you can change the backlight to be brighter or on
