A few sources mention that it has a gaming port that is suppose to HDMI 2.1. I'm in the market for a new TV and wondering if you can run it 4k 120hz?

I found this on the topic, which says definitively that HDMI 2.1 IS on the Q50.  I have no idea of the veracity of this site, but Samsung has managed to make it more confusing than it needs to be.  I was just about to pull the trigger on the 50".

Samsung Q80T 50-inch QLED TV | RRP $1099.99 | Now $899.99 | Save $200 at Best Buy
As we confirmed in our Samsung Q80T review, this is an exceptional 4K TV for gaming with much-coveted HDMI 2.1 features to make it PS5-ready. 120fps at 4K, VRR, and ALLM are all here and ready to bring games to life with Samsung's excellent proprietary QLED technology. Great brightness and fantastic upscaling seal the deal to make this a worthy futureproof investment.

In fact, I've found two other sites stating the 50" is 120hz, bestbuy (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-50-class-q80t-series-led-4k-uhd-smart-tizen-tv/6423493.p?skuId=...) and WebBeeNow (https://webeenow.com/samsungs-qled-2020s-have-hdmi-2-1-and-4k-120hz-perfect-for-next-gen/)

WebBee states that only the 49" does not have 120hz.

Note, not trying to start an argument, just trying to get to the correct info.

Its incredible that samsung doesn't mention that in the overview of the q80t and if they do its the incredibly small print. Ridiculous if ya ask me. Now I have to return the 50inch and get the 55inch if I can find one.

The Q80T does support HDMI 2.1 so can run 4K 120Hz, but only on HDMI4 port.
