Asked for a "Device ID" but never got a confirmation email?

I signed up for the "TV and You" program.  I received the tablet and when setting it up the tablet asked for the "device ID".  It says that I was supposed to receive it in an e-mail with the shipping confirmation.  I never got a confirmation e-mail therefor I never go a device ID.  how do I get it?  Samsung support has no clue what TV and You even is much less how to fix it.
