I have a very long email and very secure long and complicated password for my Samsung account.

I own a Samsung Q70R 82" smart TV, Costco model, bought two years ago.

Is there a way to login to the account without having to type every single character of my account name and password using the TV remote ?

For example, I can login to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Plex, and so on using a 5-6 character code generated on the TV, then typing in that code on my smartphone in a web browser, and logging in to the account in the browser on the phone.

I'd like to do the same to login to my Samsung account on the TV. I couldn't find that option anywhere, though. Is there really no such thing ? And if not, is it planned in firmware updates ? The exact model is QN82Q7DRAFXZA .

If you install the Samsung SmartThings application then add your TV to the application you can click on the menu option to enable the lab's feature it will allow you to use your phone to type the text on your TV, It works extremely well with signing into your TV app and other features Screenshot_20211208-160306_SmartThings_2568_1638997386.jpgScreenshot_20211208-160317_SmartThings_2569_1638997397.jpgScreenshot_20211208-160325_SmartThings_2570_1638997406.jpg

Thanks ! That worked indeed. I was skeptical because using the SmartThings app on the TV requires prior login to the Samsung account. But using SmartThings on the phone lets me add the TV painlessly.
