Samsung Pass: Couldn't verify fingerprints

Hey, 

        So, I recently Got a S23 Ultra, and started setting up my device and finshed setting up. Then when i tried to setup samsung pass, I logged into my and tried to verify my fingerprint.

 

 It keeps popping the error "Couldn't Verify Fingerprints" please try again. 

I went through solutions in the forum, which said to try disconnecting wifi and try with mobile data and yea i tried switching to mobile data and tried a several times still it shows the same error. 

Also i triend forcestop, clear cache and data, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, removing my samsung account and relogin, removing fingerprints.

Expecting for solutions, Thank you!!!

When I press the "ok "after message, it takes me out completely from the app. How do I get the gear icon?

Elsy, I'm not sure. My Samsung Wallet doesn't close when I tap OK on the network connection message. Are you connected to a WiFi while you're trying the possible work-around? Have you installed any available updates from Google Play Store and the Galaxy Store?

In the Samsung Wallet App you should see a message saying "Samsung Pass is moving to Samsung Wallet" click get started and Samsung Pass app will be removed from your phone.

I am having same issues as well. Did an update and it's still acting up. I also lost access to 5G and defaulted to 4GLTE. It's driving me crazy.

Hello, i just received my  S23 Ultra, and started setting up my device and finshed setting up. I tried logging into applications using Samsung Paas but noticed I couldn't log in. Initially I was getting an error saying Network issues, however after clearing the cache and data and restarting the phone a couple times thay error clear led but now fails to identify my fingerprint. 

 

Now the errror is:  "Couldn't Verify Fingerprints" please try again. 

I  tried a few solutions on the forum like:  disconnecting wifi and try with mobile data, forcestop, clear cache and data, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, removing my samsung account and relogin, removing fingerprints, running a software upgrade and restarting again - nothing works.

I also saw somewhere that Samsung Pass is now part of Samsung Wallet- installed that, tried to login in Samsung Pass through it but again I get the same error....

I see this might be a wider issue, looking forward to a solution soon. Definitely ruined the "new phone" experience today....
